Camping
Enveloped in the heart of East Texas , our base camp can host any number of guests for a variety of meetings, camps, retreats, seminars, and get-a-ways. Over 35 guests can sleep in the comfort of heated and cooled cabins, wake to camp fire coffee, dine and meet in the dining hall and kitchen, equipped with a wood burning heater, and take advantage of our heated and cooled shower houses.
Church Groups
Countless of youth groups, Sunday school classes, leadership teams, and bible study groups have taken advantage of the unsurpassed wilderness experience here at Gateway. Both teens and adults have noticed the benefit of surrounding the group with nothing but the wilderness, fellowship, and worship; all while participating in the ropes activities, prayer and camp life. Corporate Services
One is hard pressed to find more joy on faces than those of a corporate team while on our course or in camp. While at Gateway, corporate groups can take any number of days to work on communication, team work, trust, self actualization, and success, while surrounded by peers and piney woods. The effect of the intimacy that only the wilderness can provide has been echoed by various corporate groups that we’ve had the pleasure of hosting, ranging from law enforcement agencies, juvenile detention centers, management teams, and community leaderships groups.
If leadership training is not what you’re looking for, feel free to bring your committee or group out for a meeting away from telephones and other distractions!
Birthday Parties
As a new addition to our services, we enjoy taking the burden by planning your next birthday party, from the cake to the entertainment. This party can last from a few hours to overnight with the ropes course activities included! Call for more info information or contact us with any question!
Holiday Retreats
You’ve always imagined Christmas in the pines, well now you can have it! Our year-round camp is more that ready to host any group, from the merry to the humbugs. The staff’s own families have taken advantage of this feature for years! Oh, and don’t worry…you don’t have to decorate! We’ve enjoyed hosting Christmas parties, family hide-a-ways, New Year’s retreats, and summer fun for the Fourth.
Family Reunions
We’re not your ordinary pavilion and park! Pick and choose the services you would like at your next family reunion, from ropes to games to fishing and canoeing…all on site! Call to let us know what you’d like and when, we’ll do all the rest!
